City Administration
The administration of official business for the City of Xenia is conducted under the direction of three (3) officials appointed by City Council: the City Manager, the Finance Director, and the Law Director.

Administrative Services (HR) Department
The Administrative Services (HR) Department reports directly to the City Manager and is responsible for managing all aspects of employment and benefits administration for City employees. The Administrative Services Director oversees the Information Technology Division, the Public Relations Division, and the Support Services Division (City Reception).

City Clerk
The City Clerk position is established by City Charter, Article IV, Section 4.10, is appointed by the Mayor and City Council, and works under the direction of the Finance Director.

Development Services Department
The Economic Development Division is ready for your business! Whether you are looking to start a small business, expand an existing business or are looking for prime locations for your commercial or industrial enterprise, Xenia has an economic development team in place to assist you. The Community Development Division is responsible for the administration of initiatives and programs designed to provide housing assistance, community and neighborhood development, historic preservation, and downtown revitalization, including the City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and Community Housing Impact and Preservation (CHIP) program.

Emergency Communications Division (911)
Our Emergency Communications Center, Xenia/Greene Central, is a consolidated effort with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and receives 911 calls placed within Greene County (with the exception of the cities of Beavercreek and Fairborn).

Fire & EMS Division
The Xenia Fire & EMS Division provides a wide range of services to the City of Xenia and Central State University including fire suppression, EMS, rescue, hazardous materials, fire prevention, fire inspection, and plan review.

Information Technology
The Information Technology Division is responsible for planning and maintaining the City's technology activities including local and wide area networks, IP phone systems, Cable TV Government channel (Time Warner Cable Channel 5), database systems, personal computers, software, peripherals, etc.

Municipal Court
Xenia Municipal Court has jurisdiction over violations of any ordinance of any municipal corporation within its territory.

Police Division
The City of Xenia has an excellent police force and is proud of the service the Xenia Police Division is able to provide to our community. All of the Xenia Police Division officers are highly trained to give the citizens in this community the best possible service.

Public Service
The Public Service Department for the City of Xenia is responsible for a wide range of critical community services including street maintenance, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and engineering.

Tax Division
The Income Tax Division provides administration of the City's Income Tax Ordinance and Rules and Regulations.

Utility Billing Division
The Utility Billing Division bills customers for water, sewer, sanitation, storm water, and parking lot rentals.
