Xenia Emergency Communications
Our Communications Center, Xenia/Greene Central, is a consolidated effort with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office. We operate in the Xenia Police Division under the management of Xenia Police Division.
When 9-1-1 is dialed, the call goes to the nearest jurisdictional Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). If you live in Xenia or anywhere in Greene County and dial 9-1-1, with the exception of the cities of Beavercreek, Bellbrook, and Fairborn and Sugarcreek Township, the call would come into the Xenia/Greene Central Communications Center. When we receive a 9-1-1 call for another jurisdiction, we will ask you to remain on the line and transfer the call to the correct PSAP.
Xenia/Greene Central Communications Center is staffed by a Communications Director and 16 Communications Operators. There are a minimum of three operators on duty at all times.
