The City of Xenia is applying for a grant through the Clean Ohio Revitalization Fund for environmental remediation at the former Ohio Veterans’ Children’s Home property at 690 Home Avenue, Xenia. The application is available for review at the Xenia Branch of the Greene County Library, 76 E. Market Street in Xenia, until March 12, 2012. A public meeting to discuss the project and solicit comments on the application will be held on March 12, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 101 N. Detroit Street.
