Police Reports

How do I obtain a copy of a police report?
A copy of Accident Reports and Criminal Investigation Reports can be picked up in the Police Records Division located in the basement of City Hall. Police reports are not available until after 12:00 p.m. on the following business day. However, if a report is still under investigation, the report is not releasable.

Can you fax a copy of a police report?

Is there a charge to receive a copy of a report?
There is a $.07 per page charge for a report; however, we waive the fee for a request involving 10 pages or less.

Do you provide records checks?
The Records Division provides record checks for the "City of Xenia" only to individuals and companies that submit their request in person or by mail.  Record checks are not completed over the telephone and are not faxed.
