About Xenia
Bikepaths
If you ask someone what they most like about the City of Xenia, Ohio, it is likely that they will respond: "their incredible network of bikepaths and walking trails." Xenians are proud of the fact that they can be on any one of four major bikepaths within a matter of minutes from anywhere in the City.
The City's beautiful Xenia Station, a replica of the original structure, is the "Hub of It All" connecting Xenia with miles and miles of scenic trails.
The availability and safety of an outstanding network of scenic walking and biking trails has led to Xenia's designation as one of "America's 10 Fittest Cities for Women, " by Health Magazine. The American Hiking Sociey has named Xenia a Charter Member of the Trail Town USA Hall of Fame and a Top 10 Trail Town, and Walking Magazine calls it one of the best walking towns in America. Xenia hosts the annual Greene Trails Cycling Classic, a four-day event that brings bicycling families from throughout the Midwest to enjoy cycling and roller-blading in Greene and surrounding counties. The Annual Ohio River Road Runners Club Marathon is also held in Xenia. The certified course is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.
We look forward to seeing you on the path!
