Click here to review charts that illustrate the 2010* local government costs for jurisdictions in Montgomery and Greene Counties.  The City of Xenia ranks 22nd out of 24 and 21st out of 24** communities in terms of lowest cost burden to its citizens.  (**Based on two different scenarios outlined below.)  Examples 1 and 3 represent two different assumptions for income and home value (the chart used in Example 1 is based on $100,000 home value and earned income of $40,000 and the chart used in Example 3 is based on $144,896 home value and earned income of $57,959).  *The water and sewer rates are based on the March 2010 rate comparison per the City of Oakwood's annual survey.
