All businesses who seek to open their doors or re-open their doors will need to visit the City of Xenia, Xenia Service Center, at 966 Towler Road to apply for a Certificate of Zoning Compliance.  To apply, you will need to complete a Zoning Permit Application and pay the application fee as described on the most recent Zoning Permit Fee Schedule. 

In addition to completing the application, you will need to submit a floor-plan of your proposed business.  If your business use will represent a change in usage or will require structural changes, you will need to submit professionally drawn and sealed plans from an architect or engineer.  If the business proposed is the same, you will probably need only to submit a to-scale drawing of your floor plan.  If you are unsure about which plans you must submit, check with Xenia Service Center/Planning and Zoning at (937) 376-7277 or (937) 376-7285.
