CHIP

Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP)

The State of Ohio CHIP Program provides grants to small cities that will help them to specifically provide housing assistance to qualified applicants.  Those grants must be applied for by the municipality, and they are awarded on a competitive basis.

Xenia completed a CHIP housing program in late 2009; there are no further funds available for housing grants or loans in the City at this time.

If the City applies for any future CHIP funding, the first time such funds would ever become available would be 2012.  If you are still interested in such loans/ grants, please contact Mary Crockett at mcrockett@ci.xenia.oh.us and provide your name, your Xenia City mailing address, and your best contact number.  In the event funds ever become available you will be contacted with application information.

The City of Xenia will not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, age, handicap/disability, sex, familial status or place of national origin.
