City Manager's Office

The City Manager is the chief executive officer for the City of Xenia. In this capacity, the City Manager is responsible for conducting the day-to-day operations of the city and oversees various departments, including the Public Service Department, the Community Development Department, the Human Resources Department, and the Parks and Recreation Department. By City Charter, the City Manager is the public safety director for Xenia, and as such oversees the Fire and Police Divisions and the Homeland Security/Risk Management Department.

The City Manager also serves as the City’s budget administrator and is responsible for developing and administering Xenia’s annual operational and capital improvement budgets.
