City of Xenia Historical and Architectural Walking and Biking Tour Brochure

In 2008, the City of Xenia published a Historical and Architectural Walking and Biking Tour Brochure to celebrate the varied and unique architecture and history of its neighborhoods.  Copies of these brochures can be obtained from the City of Xenia Planning & Zoning Department, Chamber of Commerce, Greene County Historical Society, Xenia City Hall and Greene County Library.

The tour is designed to educate the public about our history and architecture and it can be done by foot or by bike.  The biking tour angle was added, in consideration of Xenia’s unique position as the bicycle hub of the region, and it is the first of its kind in the area that incorporates this feature. 

There is a lot of history and architectural features in the buildings and homes that we pass every day, and hopefully, this brochure will encourage residents to take notice and increase their appreciation for the many architectural jewels that we have in our City. 

Taking this Historical and Architectural Tour is also a good way of getting familiar with the different historic neighborhoods that are featured in the tour.
