"Fair Housing means you may freely choose a place to live without regard to your race, color, religion, sex, national origin or because you are disabled or have children in your home."

The City of Xenia seeks to promote and ensure equal housing opportunities to all residents of the City of Xenia. In 2016 the City of Xenia contracted with The Miami Valley Fair Housing Center, Inc. of Dayton, Ohio to offer Fair Housing services to Xenia residents to include help with the following:

  • Information about the Fair Housing law: rights and responsibilities
  • Assistance in filing Fair Housing complaints to secure rights and remedies under the law
  • Information and referral on landlord-tenant Issues
  • Educational Presentations on Fair Housing and related issues.
